As they say, this is one way to take care of your new tattoo, but it is not the only way.

To keep your tattoo looking as good as new, you should follow your tattoo artist’s recommendations.

  • Wash the tattoo carefully with lukewarm water and pH-neutral soap. Gently dry it. Wait 5 minutes to apply the recommended cream.
  • The 1st day the tattoo is kept covered with a change of film three hours after the tattoo and then before going to bed.
  • The 2nd day remove the film (and put no more). Wash and apply cream twice, morning and evening.
  • On the 3rd and 4th day wash and apply cream once.
  • On the 5th nothing, don’t apply cream.
  • On the 6th day you wash and apply cream once and continue until you see it healed.

DON’T EXPOSE YOUR NEW TATTOO :

  • To sun
  • To Seawater
  • To Swimming pools, saunas, steam baths
  • Do not scratch or remove the scab
  • Do not stretch the skin (exercice), sweat for at least 3 days
  • Washing before applying the cream is very important and apply a small amount. More cream will not help you to heal better, it will be worse because the skin gets wet, it will not dry and you may get a rash.

DAILY CARE

In about 21 days your tattoo will have healed, but your skin will still be sensitive. Apply daily cream to keep it moisturised.

TATTOO RETOUCHING

Your tattoo may need to be retouched. We guarantee our work, but we will not review tattoos for poor care.

IMPORTANT:

When you leave the studio you take responsibility for your tattoo and over time it will become clear whether it received the necessary care during the healing process.

If you see that there is anything unusual in the healing process, such as redness or heat in the area, go to the studio where you had it done and they will tell you what to do.

The tattooed area is usually a little sore, it is part of the process and after a few days it itches, it is a good sign, it will be healing normally.
